So while reading my normal morning internet news I ran into this site called Thred UP which pretty much consists of a place where you can send the clothes and stuff your bambina / bambino no longer uses or outgrew and they pay you for it. Plus you can buy used items as well. Us parents all know how quick our kids outgrow thier clothes, shoes etc. I am going to try Thrd Up see how I like it, thought I would share the finding:)

Menu included: Turkey (22lbs), Green Beans Caserole, Sweet Potato Caserole, Onion Rice, Pasta Salad, Asparagus in Wine Sauce & Mlinci (this is a traditional dish from Croatia that my hubby prepared). Everything was yummy thanks to Google & You Tube for the help. Here some pics of the great day:)

Halloween Safety Tips
Today is one of my favorite Holidays during the year, you get to use your imagination and become a character, can it be any more fun. Just make your to keep your little ones safe here a few tips to have a great Halloween experience:
1. Make sure your kids costume fits properly and is not to long or to hot, to avoid tripping or cranky hot child.
2. Make sure that your child can see thru the mask or use kid friendly make up instead.
3. An adult should always go with the kids.
4. Try doing the trick or treat during day time and bring a flash light incase you get delayed.
5. Visit only familiar houses.
6. Verify all candies and only give them the ones with wrappers.
7. Make sure that the costumes don't have any props that could harm a child if so change for a plastic or foam version.
Have fun and make it a family adventure. Happy Halloween :)

Halloween Mission
Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays followed by Thanksgiving I love all the preparations so much fun at least for me. Last year was Nia's 1st Halloween celebration but little did I know it was also my hubby's,Momo is from Croatia so they don't really celebrate that in his country. Having to rookies made the date a challenge, costumes came out so great I am having a really hard time this year to top our Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts and Little Alice costumes from last year. So we have decided to go with Popeye, Olive Oyl & Sweet Pea for this year. Any ideas on how to make the sweet pea costume for a toddler that runs? ha ha are welcome. I will post pictures next week of the out come but her some from last year.

Roselyn's Baby Shower
I must say being pregnant is a pretty different and new experience for a woman, some go by it with not even a glinch and others like myself throw up all your guts ha ha but it was way worth it everytime I see my bambina smile. A Baby Shower is one of those great things you get when pregnant free baby stuff and a party to mingle, can't get better than that. Here are a few elements of Roselyn's Baby Shower that took place at Hosteria del Mar at Ocean Park. Hope you like. To get a baby shower like Roselyn's write us at bebeurbano@gmail.com
